Jessica Ellen Cornish is an English performer and song writer who goes by the stage name Jessie J. Jessie's unique musical style, which combines soul vocals, pop, electropop and hip-hop has earned her fame from a very young age. Apart from her numerous honors, she's also been nominated to receive the 2011 "Critics' Choice Brit Awards" and for the BBC's Sound of 2011". The career of Jessie began at the age of 11 at the time that Andrew Lloyd Webber cast her in the musical Whistle Down the Wind. She then joined the National Youth Music Theater and appeared in their 2002 show The Late Sleepers'. Her debut album "Who You Are" was released in February 2011. The singer became famous the following year. In the UK in particular the album sold 105,000 units, while in the US it sold 34,000.
